Professor Anand Agrawal is on the core faculty of the Asian Institute of Management. He specializes in Services Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing Research, and Research Methods.
His previous work experiences include: Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean for Curriculum Enhancement and Accreditation at Swinburne University of Technology-Sarawak, Associate Professorship at the Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (IILM) in India and Assistant Professorship at ICFAI Business School in Hyderabad, India.
Prof. Agrawal's industry experience includes working as Associate Director of Research with Audience Measurement and Analytics Ltd, a media research firm in India and as Associate Project Director with Taylor Nelson Sofres, a global market research firm.
His research interests include designing, measuring and managing social affordance and experience in service settings. He has published research papers and articles in peer-reviewed journals and professional magazines and also served as editor and reviewer for research journals such as Research World, Journal of Management Education, Journal of Research Practice and South African Journal of Management.
He is experienced in research and research methodologies and he often receives invitations to conduct research workshops. He has conducted several research workshops for faculty, industry executives, and doctoral students in India. Apart from research, as a Visiting Faculty, he has also facilitated MBA units at the International University of Paris, France and at SP Jain Centre of Management in Dubai, UAE.
Prof. Agrawal has a PhD in Marketing from ICFAI University, an MBA major in Marketing (Honours) from Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), and a BSc in Zoology (Honours) from Delhi University
