Anu Joshi joins HITLAB as the Summer 2017 DELPHI Fellow. She is currently a MS Candidate in Biostatistics at Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health.
She previously worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Baystate Medical Center. She has also worked at Nanoprobes, Inc, a nanobiotechnology lab, where she researched the use of gold and iron nanoparticles to minimize cancerous tumor growths. Anu received her BS in Biotechnology degree from Saint Peter’s University. For her honors thesis project, she researched in-vivo transformation of adipose cells to muscle cells. She brings extensive experience in clinical and academic settings.
When not working, Anu enjoys traveling, photography, comics, and data visualization.
