Steve’s work at HITLAB is focused on facilitating innovation sessions, in which he masterfully guides group discussions to uncover insights and generate new ideas. Steve supports HITLAB’s initiatives to teach executives the significance of digital health technologies and develop a culture of innovation.
Steve has spent his life as an educator in several countries, namely Uganda, Norway, the U.K., France and the U.S. and has lived outside the U.S. for close to forty years. The first half of his professional life included being a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda, four years in theater education in Norway, two years as an educator with Ballet Rambert, a world famous ballet company in London, and five years as a Lecturer in Marketing in various universities in France. The past twenty years have been devoted to Executive Development and the challenge of using educational opportunities to broaden both senior and next generation executives at leading companies. For fifteen years he was the Program Director for Executive Development at Ericsson, the giant Swedish supplier of networks and services to customers in over 160 countries. He designed, developed, led and sustained a number of global programs for Ericsson’s Executive Resources. These programs took place in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, China, Japan, India, and Africa.
Steve now lives in New York City and is always quick to recommend a great and undiscovered restaurant.
