Manager, Educational Programs and Events
Dio Lichiardopol has joined HITLAB as the Manager of Educational Programs and Events. With over six years of experience producing events across various industries, he moved into the healthcare space a few years ago and hasn’t looked back. Dio will help grow the diffusion of digital healthcare knowledge and innovations through focused educational programs and events at HITLAB.
Born and raised in New York City, Dio graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Stony Brook University and was part of the University Scholars program there. It was in college where he first discovered his passion for event production through the social activism and fundraising events he produced, including the Alpha Phi Delta Fall Classic which was the largest student run fundraiser in Stony Brook University’s history.
Dio began his career with a start-up called the Duality Group as a Marketing Coordinator, and then gradually worked his way up to take on more responsibility at Joonbug and more recently at ExL Events where he managed both small and large scale events with over 2500 attendees. Dio enjoys creating programs from the ground up all the way through execution, with a strong focus on engagement and impact which he believes sets apart successful events.
In his free time Dio loves to play sports, go to as many concerts as he can, travel the world, and aspires to be on Jeopardy someday soon.
