Our research team is working on exploring the impact of interoperability technology on the economic and clinical parameters in healthcare. Electronic data interchange technology is able to link and translate data between several information systems effectively providing a platform between EHR systems and external partners. Our research will evaluate the functionality of the technology as it facilitates the transmission of patient data and enhances work flow between several external organizations and clinics which share some of the same patients.
