Post Doctoral Research Fellow (Full time) Job Description: The HIT Lab is currently seeking a Post doctoral Research Fellow to work with the grant teams to design research studies in line with our mission, identify data collection strategies, assist with data collection, and help with analysis of the data and reporting of findings. The Post doctoral Research Fellow will act as co-principal investigator on independent research grants and help identify potential funders and funding opportunities. He/she will be required to work collaboratively with staff and partner with experts if need be, to carry out scientific research in line with HIPAA and ethical research standards. He/she will perform literature reviews and identify national and local data sets relevant to our research projects. He/she will produce timely, comprehensive reports that detail findings from our projects, and present the same at sponsor meetings, academic forums, seminars etc. Job Qualifications: - PhD in outcomes effectiveness/ informatics/biotechnology/ biostatistics/ biomedical research/ computer sciences or any other related field.
Post Doctoral Fellow, Healthcare m_Governance (Full time, New Delhi, India) Job Description: The HIT Lab is currently seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow to assist a healthcare m-governance Professor based in New York City but teaching in India. The Professor is currently a visiting faculty member at a leading MBA school in Delhi. The primary responsibility of the position holder will be to work with the Professor to enhance the overall educational experience of healthcare e-governance courses for MBA students. He/she will be responsible for assisting in developing the course curriculum and facilitating delivery of the same. Other teaching responsibilities include facilitating class discussions, assisting with student evaluations and in-class competitions, advising students on their academic concerns. The Post Doctoral Fellow will also be required to assist with the Professor’s research grants in healthcare m-governance. This includes scholarly research, engaging with grant sponsors and study sites, working with partner groups in medicine and public health, grant proposal writing, reporting findings, data analysis, co-authoring publications. He/she may be required to work independently or as part of a team and must be a highly motivated person with tremendous initiative. Job Qualifications: - The right candidate will have a doctorate in any one of the following areas: computer sciences, statistics, economics, outcomes effectives, economic effectiveness, biomedical informatics, e-governance, biomedical engineering or a related field with a high GPA.
Research Coordinator (Full time) Job Description: The HIT Lab is seeking a Research Coordinator to provide research and delivery support to the grants under the direction of the principal investigator and/or research manager. He/She will assist with planning and conducting research related activities. Some of the duties may include background research, literature reviews, preparation and creation of documents such as study synopses, case report forms, informed consent forms, IRB forms, and other study-related/regulatory documents in consultation with the principal investigator. The research coordinator will have the opportunity to present findings and author papers. He or she will also be responsible for the documentation of regulatory submissions to IRB, HIPAA and other regulatory bodies. He/she will also be required to carry out some administrative responsibilities which include day to day office duties such as answering the phone and taking messages, ordering supplies, managing the Chairman’s calendar, coordinating travel arrangements. 5% travel is required. Job Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare discipline or a quantitative science required. Post-Baccalaureate or Masters Degree candidates are preferred.
Research Assistant (Part time) Job Description: The HIT Lab is currently seeking a Research Assistant. He/she will be required to actively participate in one or more grants at the Lab and provide both research and coordination support to ensure smooth execution and delivery of grants. The research assistant will have the opportunity to learn on the job, familiarize themselves with the intricacies of the research process –background research, writing, data analysis, reporting, and have the opportunity to publish research they work on. Candidates should have a strong academic record with a bachelor’s degree in public health or a related field with a minimum 3.3 GPA. Current undergraduate students with an exceptional academic record may apply. Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal are required. Grant Writer (Contract) Job Description: The HIT Lab is currently seeking contract Grant Writers to assist with grant writing efforts at the HIT Lab. Responsibilities include drafting letters of intent, writing grant proposals and gathering supporting documentation in response to opportunities. Candidates should have a strong academic record (with a 3.3 GPA minimum) with at least 5 years of experience in writing and winning federal and foundation grants. Previous experience in healthcare / healthcare technology is desirable. In addition, excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal are required and ability to work independently while collaborating with the Research Manager and Editor. Our ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently while being remote and on-site as required. |
