By working closely with our prestigious staff members and learning the ins and outs of our organization, interns obtain a complete understanding of what life is like working for a lab. For example, the research conducted at the HIT Lab concretely stimulates scientific, political, and economic progress. We analyze, criticize, and contribute to the wealth of medical knowledge that exists today. We use the information we collect to better advise policy makers and guide public activities. We provide private companies with the information necessary for improving the health products and services that they produce. We even provide residents of our local community with rewarding opportunities for employment.
Compensation
Internships at the HIT Lab are paid or unpaid depending on combination of factors.
Time/Dates
The time requirements for our internship program are flexible to accommodate student course schedules, but we expect students to be available for at least 16 hours per week.
We bring new interns on board seasonally:

Summer semester (May-August)
If academic restrictions prevent you from committing to this timeline, please contact us, and we will try to coordinate an alternative schedule.
