The submissions are in, proposals reviewed, and verdict rendered: nearly 100 promising diabetes innovations will move on to the second round of the Healthcare Innovation World Cup.
The exciting group of qualifiers represents diverse areas of the globe, including Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, and others.
From these competitors, judges will select 5 semifinalists from the Africa/Asia/Middle East region, and 5 from Europe and the Americas (10 total) to participate in live demonstration days in New Delhi, India and New York, USA. The finalists from those events will compete in a final presentation on May 10 at the German Center for Research and Innovation in New York City.
