Vivian Peng, who directed both the HITLAB Innovators Summit and the HITLAB World Cup, received our “Young Innovator Award” for her outstanding contribution to innovation within healthcare.
Vivian directed the first ever healthcare innovators summit powered by HITLAB in the short span of two and a half months. She was responsible for conceptualization, design, and delivery of the event, which was attended by 150 healthcare change makers and participants from all over the world. Vivian’s ability to drive forward change combined with an eye for detail and aesthetics is one we have rarely witnessed.
• Michael Froehlich, Young Scientist Award.
Michael Froehlich, who works as a research assistant for HITLAB, received our “Young Scientist Award” for his outstanding contribution to research.
Michael has worked diligently over the past year and a half on path-breaking research regarding wearable devices. His cheerful demeanor combined with his commitment to the success of the project is commendable, especially for a young researcher.
