Isobel Tanner joins HITLAB as Executive Assistant to HITLAB, Chair. Prior to joining HITLAB, Isobel worked in a diverse range of communications support roles. As an editorial assistant at HGTV Magazine, she provided direct support to the lifestyle director and learned a great deal about interior design and DIY projects. Isobel then moved on to hone her literary skills while serving as editor at an online publication, where she designed and implemented a company-wide communication system before departing to join HITLAB as an executive assistant.
Isobel first discovered her passion for improving the lives of others while interning with the Basic Education Coalition. As a member of its team, she was responsible for crafting reports on the status of education in majority nations. Learning the plight of children in these countries, she grew determined to address inequalities throughout the world. Isobel is excited to return to an environment that works daily to better the healthcare system on a worldwide scale.
Isobel received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Connecticut College. While in attendance she also studied art and English literature, and was a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in psychology.
When not at the Lab, Isobel enjoys spending time with her Yorkshire terrier, reading a good book, or attempting to master a new recipe.
