Jenny is an experienced innovation leader and Director in the IDEO London studio. She collaborates with clients to establish new platforms to foster innovation, incubate future offerings, and launch new ventures. She is passionate about the power of creativity to drive positive impact in the world. Jenny’s professional background combines 13 years in innovation strategy, experience design, and social impact, both as a consultant and entrepreneur. She has worked with a broad range of stakeholders across the health system to tackle new models of care delivery and support prevention and wellness focused endeavors. Previous challenges have included working with a hospital system to redefine the patient experience, helping a leading nonprofit define new social ventures to impact Alzheimer's patients, collaborating with a retailer to define their future health care strategy and developing the program and curriculum for a healthcare start-up accelerator. Jenny has worked across both the patient and staff experience, creating solutions that integrate health into people's natural behaviors, daily life, and help to make health easy, simple, and actionable. She is inspired by the future potential of unlocking the unique combination of smart data, a shifting culture of care, while rapidly increasing the pace of delivering and scaling innovation in health. Jenny has been published in Fast Company and she regularly speaks on the topics of disruptive innovation, social entrepreneurship, design-led ventures, and purpose-driven organizations.
Jenny is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and mentors several early stage start-ups and student entrepreneurs. She holds a Masters in Design, Strategy, and Innovation. Jenny has visited over 25 countries, summited 18 mountains, run 4 marathons, and spends her free time crafting textiles and baking bread.
