Haipeng (Mark) Zhang D.O. is a Palliative Care consultant at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the first Clinical Informatics Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. 

Throughout his career, Mark has held an interest in leveraging technology to improve clinical medicine. He is the founder and co-creator of Palliative Care Fast Facts for iOS and Android mobile applications. This application is one of the most widely used mobile reference applications in palliative care with an international audience. 

Mark is a co-founder of Cake, a 2016 TEDMED The Hive Company, 2015 MassChallenge finalist, and Harvard iLab VIP company whose mission is making advance care planning easier and more accessible for everyone (www.joincake.com).

Mark completed an Internal Medicine residency and chief year at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a graduate of the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship. He is also a Master of Biomedical Informatics candidate at Harvard Medical School.
