Michelle L. Odlum is an Assistant Professor in Nursing Informatics at Columbia University School of Nursing. As a Disparities Researcher, she has more than ten years of experience working on a variety of research, evaluation, and health promotion initiatives with vulnerable populations. Dr. Odlum’s current work centers on comparative effectiveness and Informatics-based research with a focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and self-management, Health Information Technology (HIT) and recently Ebola. She is a recipient of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s-New Connections Junior Investigator award and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a Master’s degrees in Public Health and a Ed.D in Health Education.
