Melinda Richardson, Educational Events Associate
Melinda's professional experience spans working with foundations, non-profits, socially conscious startups and United Nations agencies on events and communications strategy. In 2015 Melinda launched the first annual Young Professionals Healthcare Summit with the United Nations Association of Southern New York highlighting healthcare needs and interventions in the development space.
Melinda earned her Master’s degree in Political and Social Sciences from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. She earned her undergraduate degree with a joint major in Philosophy and Political Science from Boston University.
Melinda currently serves on the National Council of the United Nations Association of the US, as a board member of the Young Professionals Healthcare Network, and is a UN Foundation Shot@Life Champion advocating to protect children worldwide by providing vaccines where they are most needed.
