Nishita joined HITLAB in 2006. As the Executive Director of HITLAB, Nishita led the organization through its fast-paced growth and helped the organization excel beyond industry standards. Over the course of her career, Nishita has worked for small and large organizations, entrepreneurs and students to achieve individual and organizational effectiveness and growth. At HITLAB she oversaw human resources and organization development activities, as well as operations, and co-led strategy, legal, marketing and communications with the Chair.
As a Fellow, Nishita will continue to support the Lab as it strives to fulfill the mission to help leading organizations ideate, create, evaluate, and diffuse innovative digital health solutions.
Her previous work experience spans across India and the United States, where she has been part of human resources and organization development apparatus in various capacities.
Nishita has a PhD in Social and Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She has a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Masters in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi, India, where she graduated summa cum laude from the program. Her primary research interests include cross cultural dynamics and employee engagement.
