Nishita joined HITLAB in 2006. As the executive director of HITLAB, Nishita leads the organization through its fast-paced growth and helps the organization excel beyond industry standards. Over the course of her career, Nishita has worked for small and large organizations, entrepreneurs and students to achieve individual and organizational effectiveness and growth. At HITLAB she oversees human resources and organization development activities, as well as operations and co-leads strategy, marketing and communications with the Research Chair. Her previous work experience spans across India and the United States where she has been part of human resources and organization development apparatus in various capacities. Nishita has a PhD in Social and Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She also has a Masters in Philosophy from the same program, a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and a Masters in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi, India, where she graduated summa cum laude from the program. Her primary research interests include cross cultural dynamics and employee engagement.
