Olga has 7 years of professional experience as a data scientist. She has led numerous projects at HITLAB focused on building large scale databases and creating statistical models to help healthcare organizations gain insights from their pilot studies and help improve patient care. In addition to working with data,  her other professional interest lies in  investigating what helps people change their behaviors, and have a healthier lifestyle and better cardiovascular health.

Olga’s training is in health psychology, behavioral medicine, and statistics. Prior to joining HITLAB, Olga worked at Columbia University Medical Center. As a part of the research team at the Division of Behavioral Medicine, she collaborated on the Midlife in the US (MIDUS), a national study of health and well-being.

Olga is originally from Moscow, Russia. She has a BS in psychology from Moscow State University and a PhD in Psychology from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
