As an academic organization operating within the field of healthcare, our ethical standards reflect the high standards of honesty, integrity, and ethical conduct that are shared by all members of the research and the medical community at large.

At all levels of our activity and during the decision making process, we willfully abide by the principles of beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, justice, dignity, and honesty.

In addition to obeying academic and medical ethics, the HIT Lab strictly adheres to the laws laid down by the United States Federal Government, the State of New York, and the City of New York.
