OUR WORK

The HIT Lab is a research organization which works to improve the field of healthcare through innovative uses of technology. Our work spans a diverse range of activities and as a result demands unique strategies and diverse methodologies. Some of what we do is academically aligned research adhering to strict standards of scientific research, making use of scientific tools and methodologies. Other work we do includes benefit grants - exploring innovative ways in which technology can be used to benefit healthcare, as well as advisory research for government, corporations and healhcare agencies.

To achieve this end, the Lab employs individuals with diverse expertise and interests. Common among them is their interest in healthcare and a curiosity about how technology can be used to benefit access to healthcare as well as its outcomes.Our staff members collaborate and use their knowledge and experience to think of innovative ways in which technology can contribute to healthcare worldwide.

In concert with our research, we are an organization committed to advocacy. Collecting data and formulating new ideas go hand in hand with communicating our insights, issuing reports and speaking publicly about our findings.
