Shailja is an accomplished healthcare executive with over 15 years of industry experience. She has served in a variety of leadership roles and has a 360-degree understanding of the healthcare sector, having worked in various industries within healthcare. She has been instrumental in laying the foundation for a new HEOR & Value model, collaborative research with academia, and stakeholder engagement strategies. Shailja has led successful global launches and has led the teams responsible for “end-to-end" evidence development to support market access and reimbursement. She conceptualized and launched a unique platform for real world research collaboration and knowledge exchange called SHARE-ID. She has also worked in the device industry at GE Healthcare, where she was responsible for providing medical strategy for “incubation” projects.
Shailja is a trained physician. She has also completed her Masters in Informatics from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and her Masters in Public Health/Health Management from Columbia University.
Shailja is also active member and fellow of HITLAB. She is a sought after thought leader and presents at numerous conferences and has patents for her work. She is also invited as a guest lecturer at Columbia University Business School.
