HITLAB Smart Injector Study for Patients

We're looking for patients who need to do home injections as part of their treatment to help us with feedback on a Smart Injector device. The purpose of this study is to gather user insights about their experiences interacting with the Smart Injector, their comfort level with the device, and their thoughts on what might be improved. (No real injections will be made using the Smart Injector.)

You may be eligible if you:

  • Currently take injectable medication as part of your treatment
  • Live in the NY metro area
  • Are over 18 years of age
  • Read, write, and speak English

This study would require participants to have two, 1-hour visits with a HITLAB researcher on Columbia Medical School’s campus in Washington Heights, and it would also require participants to do daily mock injections using the Smart Injector for one week.

Note: participation in this study would not affect participants' regular treatment plan or medication schedule in any way.

Participants will be compensated $100 for their participation.
