Biography:

Prior to joining the HIT lab Ilene worked in clinical research at the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York, where she was involved in clinical outcomes research for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Previously, Ilene worked for the New York State Psychiatric Institute, where she researched evidence-based practices on the topic of maternal depression. Before entering the healthcare field, she worked in communications, as an Account Executive for Ruder Finn’s Corporate Technology practice, where she executed marketing and public relations strategies for technology-focused business. Ilene earned her Masters in Public Health with an emphasis on Effectiveness and Outcomes Research from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health in 2009 and her BA in American Studies and International and Global Studies from Brandeis University in 2005.
