Milind Shah is a senior executive with over 30 years’ experience with multinational companies in diverse industries such as healthcare, telecommunications and petrochemicals. He has been associated with Unitus Seed Fund as a Venture Partner since 2017.
Mr. Shah’s last assignment was with Medtronic plc, a global leader in the medical technology industry, where he was the Managing Director and Vice President, Indian Sub-Continent from 2004 till 2016. Mr. Shah was also a member of Medtronic’s global executive committee during the period 2012-15. Having led the India business for Medtronic for more than a decade, Mr. Shah has deep understanding of the healthcare eco-system, a strong network of relationships among upper echelons of medical technology companies and hospital chains as well as experience in developing & executing strategic plans, business model innovations and M&A.
An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Calcutta, Mr. Shah is also an active member of the World Presidents’ Organization. His consulting firm, StratLead Advisors LLP, advises clients in developing and executing growth strategies and business models. The firm also provides executive coaching for development & evolution of business leaders.
Stan Kachnowski, PhD MPA CSEP, an Oxford trained researcher, has taught over 5,000 students from Columbia University, IIT-Delhi, and Quinnipiac College. His teaching and research over the past 25 years includes educating graduate level and executive students and conducting extensive studies on the efficacy and diffusion of digital health.
Hei has authored over 200 peer-reviewed papers and presentations for national and international journals and societies in digital health development, management, and diffusion. Professor Kachnowski has received grant funding from a wide ranging groups of sponsors, including over a dozen nations, AARP, WHO, USAID, Gates and Dell Foundations, and most of the top 20 global life science companies.
Over the past 25 years he has also served as interim CTO for life science organizations, including Eyetech and Oncology.com. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Oursmedicina, The Hudson Center for Health Equity, and Aptus Health.
Professor Kachnowski holds Bachelors and Master’s Degrees from the University of Vermont, and a Doctorate from the University of Oxford.
Probir Das holds multiple positions including Executive Officer for Terumo Japan, Chair of the Medical Devices Forum at FICCI, Chair of the Healthcare Federation at NATHEALTH, and a Director on the MTal board.
Probir leads Terumo’s businesses in India and South Asia for cardiovascular and hospital segments. He is also deeply involved in globalizing Terumo from a leadership standpoint.
He started up with Terumo in 2012, and has been instrumental in setting up the Indian subsidiary organization from scratch. Terumo India has grown its revenues 3X in the past 5 years, and achieved recognition as one of Terumo’s highest performance subsidiaries.

He is the current Chair of Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry’s (FICCI) Medical Device Forum, Chair of Healthcare Federation of India’s (NATHEALTH) Medical Technology Forum, Director on Board for Medical Technology Association of India (MTaI), and India Executive Committee Member of AdvaMed.

M.P. Gupta is known for pioneering works in e-governance, including co-authoring the book "Government Online." His work has appeared in the International Journal of E-Government Research and the Journal of Enterprise Information Management.
He also founded the International Conference on E-Governance in 2003. He's been involved in several policy committees on ICT in the Center and State Governments in India. He was conferred the Best Professor award in 2012 by the World Education Congress and CMO Asia in Singapore.
Rajiv Tayal leads the bi-national Indo-U.S. Science & Technology Forum (IUSSTF) as its Executive Director. IUSSTF performs a critical role in connecting S&T eco-systems of the U.S. and India through a rich portfolio of networking programs, strategic missions in the areas of energy and biomedical devices, large international collaborative projects and innovation led commercialization of technology. In addition to providing overall leadership to IUSSTF, he drives innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives for start-ups to translate new ideas into tangible business opportunities.

Ashwin is the Founder of Vaatsalya Healthcare, an award winning social enterprise, which was the first network of hospitals focused exclusively on Tier II and Tier III towns in India. Vaatsalya was recognized globally as the winner of the Inaugural Porter Prize in India for value based healthcare, the Most Innovative Healthcare Company by VCCircle in 2014 and India’s top 10 innovative companies by Fast Company in 2013.
Ashwin is passionate about healthcare access and is deeply engaged in building a right to primary health movement around the world. Mr. Ram Rangarajan is a cross-cultural enthusiast, technologist, entrepreneur, and healthcare innovator. In his current role as the General Manager of Stryker Global Technology Center in India, he is creating an innovation hub and a growth engine for Stryker. He has gained deep functional insights in marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chains. He has a BE in production engineering, MS in industrial and management engineering, and an MBA in global management.
A physician and a health informatics educationist, Prof. Sarbadhikari is regarded as a pioneer in spreading awareness of health informatics in India. He is a member of the BIS Health Informatics Sectional Committee, chairman of the Committee for Revising Concept Note on National eHealth Authority, a member of the steering committee for iNRC of SNOWMED-CT, and is an expert advisor for the e-learning advisory group for SNOWMED-CT, IHTSDO. He's also President of the Indian Association for Medical Informatics, and Chairman for Health Level Seven India.
Partha Dey is a passionate healthcare professional, having nearly two decades of experience in both provider and payer segments. His passions include healthcare IT, consulting, and clinical and administrative processes. He has extensive experience in managing multiple transformation projects in India and abroad, and has exposure to multiple technologies. He is leading IBM consulting (sales and delivery) in the India/SA region, serving healthcare customers across the region. He manages key accounts and works on complex cross brand deal in IBM. He was a founding member of three prominent healthcare institutions, including Artemis Health Institute Gurgaon, where he was Head Operations and CIO, Max Healthcare Delhi, and Apollo Gleneagles Hospital Kolkata.
Dr. Dash’s work has focused on national and global science and policy and strategies for busines, design, understanding, and navigating non-linear and complex systems. He has helped shape, design, and refine more than half a dozen national programs that bridge the gaps in biotech funding cycles, such as establishment of BIRAC's Biotech Ignition Grant (BIG) and SPARSH, a biotech social innovation program.
Sandeep is a management and strategy expert. He co-founded Operation ASHA and has led it since 2006. Under his leadership, the population coverage of Operation ASHA has expanded enormously. He is also an advocate for improved public health, and population-level markets, at the local, state, national, and international level.
