Shelley Weinstock, PhD, CNS, FACN is a consultant in nutrition and behavior change, with a history in research and teaching. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition. She was CSO at a bioscience startup, Zymes LLC, where she conducted grant-funded research on their innovative products and Parkinson’s disease. She is on staff at the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University Medical Center, where she is an academic and career advisor and is on the teaching faculty. Dr. Weinstock earned her PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Nutrition and Food Science and was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard School of Public Health. She has published in the fields of cholesterol metabolism, environmental health, and Parkinson’s disease.
