Innovators Challenge - Fall 2023
Social Media Kit
Thank you for your submission, we are excited to have you as a participant and look forward to the next steps in evaluating your submission.
As the terms and conditions state: “Each participant will be provided with a media kit before the completion of the challenge for them to participate and qualify for judging. Social media engagement and participating in social media shall be critical to impacting a finalist’s score. Participants agree to post on their social media handles, link/tag HITLAB, and hashtag #Fall2023BTAChallenge in order to be evaluated and judged under this criterion. Scores will be based on the audience engagement, responses and interest on social media and will be used by the judges to impact the scores in accordance to the judging criteria. Social Media tracking will be conducted across 5 social media platforms of the participants choosing including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Each entry agrees to post their participation via one of the social cards provided on 3 of their social media channels. The social media kit will include a selection of social cards to which applicants agree to post on their social media platforms (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube). In addition to the above posting, Applicants may create and share a brief 90 second pitch video with HITLAB for distribution on HITLAB’s social media platforms at its sole discretion.”
Again, Social Media tracking will be conducted across the 5 social media platforms HITLAB uses which include LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. If you use alternate social media channels like telegram or discord, you may post there but must additionally follow up with a link to your posting via email (see contact information below). Please use one of the social cards provided on your social media channel. Each applicant has the opportunity to post across up to 3 social media platforms. You may also create and post a creative pitch video (no more than 90 seconds) for us to share on HITLAB’s social media platforms at its sole discretion talking about how you are impacting your target audience.
Your participation in this social media critera is technically not required but will negatively affect your score in the social media criteria if you choose not to participate.
Once you post(s) on your social media channels, simply screenshot or copy the link to your posts and email them to Ansley Bowen at abowen@hitlab.org.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to that email as well.
