Katrina F. Mateo, Innovation Research Manager
As a Research Manager of Innovation Research, Katrina is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing studies that evaluate innovative digital health tools/strategies.
Katrina has previously managed digital health studies at CUNY Hunter College, New York University School of Medicine, and the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System. She has expertise in user-/patient-centered and community-based research approaches, particularly utilizing both qualitative and survey methods to evaluate/implement digital health technologies and health/behavior change interventions.
Katrina is a Doctor of Public Health candidate at the CUNY School of Public Health, Community Health and Social Sciences Department. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Vassar College and earned her Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health with a focus in Sociomedical Sciences Research.
