HITLAB and BlockHaven partner to finally connect the 50 million data points patients generate to the clinicians who need them

NEW YORK, NY — May 13, 2026 — Right now, a patient’s smartwatch is detecting an irregular heartbeat. The data exists. The alert fired. But the cardiologist reviewing that patient’s chart tomorrow morning will see none of it.

This is healthcare’s wearable data paradox: millions of patients generate continuous health data around the clock, yet almost none of it reaches the clinician’s workflow. The data dies in silos. Providers fly blind. Patients wonder why they bothered tracking anything at all.

Today, HITLAB announced a strategic partnership with digital health innovator BlockHaven to solve it.

The Missing Pipe

BlockHaven is engineering the infrastructure for individual-anchored health memory: continuous human health signal organized around the person, not the encounter. Data anchors to the person; intelligence travels where it’s needed.

Clinical workflow is where this partnership begins: turning continuous signal into actionable intelligence at the point of care. Rigorous, independent validation of clinical usability and workflow integration accelerates this channel with major health systems and investors. That’s where HITLAB comes in.

“The healthcare industry is drowning in siloed wearable data that clinicians simply cannot use,” said Stan Kachnowski, Chair of HITLAB. “BlockHaven has built the critical architecture to deliver this intelligence directly to the point of care. HITLAB’s mandate is to provide the rigorous heuristic and workflow validation that proves to health system CIOs and investors that this platform is frictionless, secure, and ready for enterprise scale.”

Three Workstreams to Enterprise Scale

Acting as BlockHaven’s evidence-generation and commercialization engine, HITLAB will drive market expansion through three targeted initiatives:

  • Heuristic & Workflow Validation: Independent evaluation of platform design, usability, and fit with provider workflows.
  • Commercial Evidence Synthesis: Peer-reviewed white papers and investor-ready materials drawn from pilot and study data, demonstrating clinical and operational ROI in the language CIOs and venture partners demand.
  • Enterprise & Capital Engagement: Strategic introductions to health system executives and venture partners through HITLAB’s global network, launched by BlockHaven’s featured presentation at the May 2026 HITLAB Innovators Summit in New York City.

From Validation to Velocity

“HITLAB’s validation is the bridge between BlockHaven’s foundation for individual-anchored health memory and the institutions that will run on it,” said Justin Kastil, Founder and CEO, BlockHaven. “Proving the platform integrates wearable intelligence into everyday clinical care is the near-term gate. The longer arc is what an individual-anchored memory makes possible: continuous data turned into better individual outcomes, intelligence that understands the person, and a memory that endures as compounding intelligence.”

Tomorrow morning, a cardiologist will open a patient chart. The question this partnership aims to answer: will the insight that could change that patient’s life finally be there?
