Participants Needed For Family Caregiver Study
Are you providing care or coordinating care for someone with dementia (including Alzheimer’s)? The University of Maine Center on Aging invites you to take part in a research study of the Care‑Wallet™ web application.
Care-Wallet™ is a secure web platform and support system designed for people coordinating care. The University of Maine Center on Aging invites you to be part of a research study of the Care-Wallet web application.
Care-Wallet provides:
The purpose of this research is to 1) understand the impact of using Care-Wallet on caregiver preparedness, confidence, and burden: 2) Get feedback about satisfaction with Care-Wallet features.
The Principal Investigator is Dr. Jennifer Crittenden, Associate Professor of Social work at the University of Maine and Associate Director for Research at the University of Maine Center on Aging. The study is voluntary.
To help evaluate Care-Wallet, you will be asked to complete three electronic surveys while using Care-Wallet and a half hour interview with researchers at the end of your study participation.

Compensation
Research participants will receive $100 in compensation for completing surveys and an interview. They also get free access to the Care-Wallet program.
Time
The estimated time to participate in the Care-Wallet program and study surveys/interview is 5-8 hours over 7 weeks. The information you provide will be confidential
Do you or someone you know have a diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD), or Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)?
