How Start-up BirthVue Is Helping Moms During Labor and Delivery

We are thrilled to announce a significant collaboration reflective of our ongoing commitment to improving healthcare outcomes through innovation and user-centered design. HITLAB is joining forces with Birthvue, an emerging startup determined to transform perinatal care and pain management in the delivery rooms.

Birthvue is a digital health software company developing AI to improve and enhance labor and delivery. Their customizable, user-friendly interface aids and empowers patients and clinicians to better their outcomes and experience. Birthvue’s AI-based labor and delivery solution leverages patient data to optimize childbirth, increasing vaginal birth rates and reducing hospital stay.

This collaboration brings together the expertise and resources of HITLAB and the fresh, innovative approach of Birthvue to conduct a comprehensive usability study aimed at enhancing the user experience and usability of Birthvue’s platform.

Key Objectives of the Usability Study:

  1. User Feedback: We will gather valuable insights from prospective users to understand their expectations and experiences with Birthvue like digital health solutions, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.
  2. Optimizing User-Centered Design: The usability study will focus on refining the user interface, functionality, and overall user experience of the platform, making it more intuitive and efficient.
  3. Generate Evidence: The data collected in this study will be analysed to provide key
    insights and evidence for internal decisions, potential investors, and customers.
  4. Continuous Improvement: By collaborating with Birthvue, we aim to establish an ongoing partnership for continuous improvement, guaranteeing that our digital health solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.

Our teams have already begun working closely to kickstart this exciting project, which will span over the next 2-3 months. The usability study will involve user surveys, in-depth interviews, and extensive testing to ensure that Birthvue products meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and effectiveness.
