HITLAB and Inmedix Partner to Build Independent Evidence for CloudHRV®

August 6, 2026

The collaboration will produce an independently evaluated evidence base and peer-reviewed white paper supporting U.S. growth for the FDA-cleared autonomic nervous system diagnostic

NEW YORK, NY — August 6, 2026 — Today, HITLAB, the New York City–based health innovation and technology organization, announced a partnership with Inmedix, developer of CloudHRV® — an FDA-cleared diagnostic that reads the body’s autonomic nervous system in minutes — to build the independent evidence base the technology needs to scale in the U.S.

FDA-CLEARED — a bar most autonomic and heart-rate-variability tools never clear. Nearly all consumer HRV products are wellness devices, not cleared diagnostics. CloudHRV® is FDA-cleared to provide medical-grade heart rate variability analysis from a high-fidelity, 5-minute ECG — non-invasively, at the point of care — delivering standardized time- and frequency-domain HRV plus Baevsky indices of sympathetic and parasympathetic autonomic activity.

Under the partnership, HITLAB will conduct an independent heuristic evaluation of the CloudHRV® platform and synthesize existing clinical evidence and testimonial data into a peer-reviewed white paper — an independently assembled evidence record that clinicians, health systems, and investors can weigh on its own merits, distinct from anything produced or funded solely by Inmedix.

“Diagnostics live or die on trust, and trust isn’t something a company can manufacture for itself — it has to be earned through evidence nobody can wave away as marketing,” said Dr. Stan Kachnowski, Chair of HITLAB. “That’s what an independent evaluation gives CloudHRV®: a record clinicians and health systems can rely on precisely because HITLAB has no stake in the outcome.”

“I spent years watching this signal sit right there in the data, unread, because there was no fast or practical way to capture it in a routine visit,” said Andrew J. Holman, MD, Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Inmedix. “As a physician first, that gap bothered me long before I became a founder. CloudHRV® closes it — and having HITLAB independently evaluate what we’ve built is how we make sure the rest of medicine can trust it too.”

Inmedix will present at HITLAB’s Innovators Summit in New York City this December, as well as during our August Symposium, with the white paper and supporting findings shared across HITLAB’s stakeholder network.
