01:10:08 Rich Carpenter: Great start to Summit – looking forward to being in person later today & over next three days!

01:12:40 Rich Carpenter: Per Jennifer’s message on partnerships: We just published 5 year data at AAHCM for our Caregiver Support and Coaching platform showing impressive impact on patient QoL, caregiver stress, physician burden, and costs. we are seeking partnerships to advance our next 3 milestones: 1. proof of concept inside a medical practice (geriatrics, palliative, nephrology, etc); 2. Locate Physician owner of new PC/establish MSO; 3. initial operations for 100 patients (150-400 caregivers).

01:13:08 Rich Carpenter: If you know an innovation oriented physician or virtual health care operations person I would appreciate an intro for a conversation. Also, if you know caregivers struggling to manage the care for their loved one, we are happy to provide our care plan and caregiver support services at the minimum level free of charge. Do let me know if we can help. Cheers! – Rich

03:48:14 Carla Asta: And patients need to be key partners involved at the very outset (via patient advocates/groups/organizations), so perhaps HITLab can facilitate integrating patient advisors into the ecosystem.

03:50:05 C. Angelique Steccato: Absolutely, agree Carla, think of creating a community of peers who face the same clinical challenges. Patient advocates, support orgs, etc.

04:04:37 C. Angelique Steccato: Thanks to all the judges as well !!!

04:04:53 Elana Robertson: Congratulations to all your finalists!

04:05:22 Carla Asta: I’ve seen a lot of great ideas in medical devices fall short or flat (or burn their budget), simply because the developers/engineers didn’t think to seek or listen to the customer perspective very upstream during proof of concept/MVP/product dev phase (not just the HCP, but the patient as ultimate end consumer). They just show up and expect adoption of their “cool idea” to be smooth sailing. Can save a lot of (wasted) time, effort and money!

04:05:43 Lina – Factually Health: Congrats to all the winners!

04:06:08 Carla Asta: BRAVO to all participants and winners! Thank you for your passion and expertise to help solve difficult challenges.

02:02:10 Howard Rosen: Hello all from sunny and “warm” Toronto, CANADA

02:02:57 Carla Asta: Greetings from sunny & “warmer” Montreal, CANADA. Ha ha!

02:04:58 Martin Sørnes: Greetings from dark and “warmest” Norway. We only have a few hours of sun here…

02:05:13 Howard Rosen: @Carla I grew up in Montreal , you may need a couple more double quotes around the reference to “warmer”

02:05:26 Carla Asta: OK, you got us beat! Lovely Norway!

02:07:23 Martin Sørnes: Its lovely, but cold and dark this time of year…

02:08:35 Carla Asta: Cold & bleak countries invented “hygge” concept, let’s not forget. Think the credit goes to Denmark…but these are often the most innovative, high QOL countries, relevant to our symposium topic of innovation in healthcare.

02:12:33 Martin Sørnes: Thank you. Nothing is like the open fireplace in your cabin after a day skiing in the Mountains.

02:13:05 Carla Asta: Indeed!

02:26:01 Sunkyo Philipp Kwon: Greetings from -6°C Itaewon in Seoul 🇰🇷, Friday 1 am (1 hour past midnight), again in 🇪🇺 soon! https://linkedin.com/in/gerontechnology

02:53:11 Anand Ganesan: This is a cool way to approach pain management!!

02:55:54 Carla Asta: Sounds like a triple home run for a broad, widespread problem…help people overcome pain & PTSD when and where they need help…with none of the side effects and risks of opioids…that’s HUGE!

03:47:29 Andreea Timberlake: Amazing mission, Birthvue!!!

03:51:17 Carla Asta: Bravo! Keep up this complex, compassionate mission…it is critically needed, in all countries (“developed” or “developing”) the world over.
