PulpDigital.ai Announces Collaboration to Advance Next-Generation COPD Care Model with “Know-How” and Pilot Program
HITLAB-verified company, PulpDigital.ai recently announced a collaboration to Advance Next-Generation COPD Care Model
PulpDigital.ai has entered into a licensing agreement with the Mayo Clinic to advance artificial intelligence solutions for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) healthcare management. The initiative plans to leverage CairIQ, PulpDigital.ai’s flagship AI-driven platform, to address challenges in COPD management, including preventable hospital readmissions, medication adherence, care plan execution, patient engagement, and reducing provider burnout by minimizing low-value administrative tasks. COPD continues to be a leading cause of hospitalizations and readmissions, creating a significant burden on patients and healthcare systems. Through this collaboration, PulpDigital.ai aims to develop and validate innovative, AI-powered approaches to deliver more proactive, personalized,
and continuous care.
Many care models today assume sustained patient behavior change. To address this, CairIQ incorporates a coordinated, four-agent AI care-orchestration “behavior intelligence layer” designed to convert clinical intent into sustained patient action at scale.
The collaboration is slated to have two phases:
- Know-How Phase: Focused on developing AI-driven clinical workflows, patient engagement strategies, and care models tailored specifically for COPD management.
- Pilot Phase: Deployment of CairIQ in real-world clinical settings to evaluate its impact on reducing avoidable readmissions, improving adherence, and enhancing overall patient outcomes.
Through this collaboration, PulpDigital.ai seeks to:
- Reduce avoidable hospital readmissions among COPD patients
- Improve medication adherence and therapy compliance
- Enhance execution of personalized care plans
- Increase patient engagement through proactive, AI-driven interactions
- Reduce provider burnout by minimizing low-value administrative tasks and streamlining clinical workflows
“This collaboration with Mayo Clinic represents a major milestone for PulpDigital.ai,” said Pervej Alam, Founder, CEO at PulpDigital.ai. “With their support, our goal is to build a next-generation care model that extends beyond hospital walls to empower patients, support
clinicians, and drive measurable improvements in outcomes.
