Empowering HealthTech and Disability Inclusion Through Impactful Investing and Advocacy

Venture Capitalist Meets Disability Advocate

Tiffany Yu is a Principal at 7wire Ventures, where she advances transformative investments in digital health and technology-enabled healthcare services. A respected investor and founder, she bridges startup innovation with equitable inclusion—whether funding high-impact health tech or pioneering disability advocacy through her leadership and social initiatives.

From Strategy to Social Impact

Tiffany’s career foundation was built with a BA from Williams College and advanced through key roles in healthcare investing and consulting. Early on, she joined F-Prime Capital as a Senior Associate, supporting notable healthcare innovations like Wellframe and Devoted Health. She then led healthcare investments at Equality Asset Management.
At Redesign Health, Tiffany designed new ventures and stewarded numerous launches across women’s health, equity, and digital medicine. Most recently, she joined 7wire Ventures as Principal (April 2024), where she channels her investment strategy into companies aligned with informed, connected health consumers, contributing to the firm’s $217M digital health fund

Driving Innovation and Inclusion

Tiffany’s unique value lies in her dual focus: driving health innovation while amplifying underrepresented voices. She co-founded Breaking 7%, a national community aimed at empowering women in deal-making roles. Beyond venture investing, she is a dedicated disability advocate—founding Diversability, a community of 80,000+ promoting disability leadership and pride, authoring The Anti-Ableist Manifesto, and serving on the NIH’s National Advisory Board on Medical Rehabilitation Research.

Leadership Rooted in Purpose

Tiffany leads with authenticity and purpose. Her approach emphasizes systemic change—whether through venture capital that scales women’s health startups or activism that reshapes cultural norms. She leverages her multifaceted expertise to both back founders and elevate marginalized voices. Her leadership is defined by empathy, structural insight, and community empowerment.

Championing Equity in Health & Advocacy

Looking forward, Tiffany aims to close equity gaps in both healthcare and disability representation. In the digital health sphere, she encourages investing in innovations that center diverse consumer experiences. As an advocate, she challenges societal norms and builds platforms for belonging. Her message is clear: advancement stems from both vision and inclusivity.
