NEW YORK, NY — October 14, 2026 — HITLAB, a health innovation and technology research organization, today announced a partnership with Cybele Health to evaluate its PrescribedAI platform and build the clinical and regulatory evidence needed to bring it into routine care.
Much of a patient’s care happens between appointments, and that is often where it breaks down. Symptoms go unreported, questions go unanswered, and clinicians, already stretched thin, have little visibility until the next visit. Cybele built PrescribedAI, a clinician-prescribed AI support platform, to give patients guided support between visits and give care teams real-time insight into how their patients are doing.
The partnership comes as AI enters care delivery faster than the evidence needed to trust it. Clinicians want outcomes, not engagement metrics. Regulators are drawing sharper lines around clinical decision support. Health systems and investors increasingly want data before they adopt. HITLAB and Cybele are building that evidence from the start.
“There’s no shortage of AI tools claiming to close gaps in care, and a real shortage of evidence showing that they do,” said Dr. Stan Kachnowski, Executive Chair of HITLAB. “Our role is to put PrescribedAI through a rigorous evaluation, define what the evidence needs to show, and chart its path through clinical trials and FDA review.”
“Conviction isn’t evidence,” said Dr. Zara Hajihashemi, Founder and CEO of Cybele Health. “Patients and clinicians deserve AI tools that have been rigorously tested. Working with HITLAB, we’re building the clinical validation and regulatory pathway to earn that trust.”
The engagement will deliver:
